Mary Riwes, MD

Mary received her D.O. degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, completed Internal Medicine residency at the Cleveland Clinic, and Hematology/ Oncology fellowship at University of Florida. She is currently an Associate Professor at Rogel Cancer Centre, University of Michigan and is the Associate Director of the Adult Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy program. Mary is a clinical translational investigator. Her clinical and research interests are in cellular therapies, particularly allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HCT). 

Her research program is focused on improving outcomes in patients receiving cellular therapies, particularly by leveraging the intestinal microbiome and its metabolites in novel clinical interventions. Importantly, Mary loves spending quality time with her family and traveling with them.
