Three drugs, treosulfan, fludarabine and lapine T-lymphocyte immune globulin (rATG), before allogeneic (cells from a donor) blood or marrow transplant to treat bone marrow failure disorders in children, teens and adults (BMT CTN 1904)

• This study is for people with bone marrow failure disorders such as: 
  • Congenital amegakaryocytic thrombocytopenia (CAMT)
  • Congenital sideroblastic anemia (CSA)
  • Diamond Blackfan anemia (DFA)
  • GATA2 deficiency
  • Paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH)
  • SAMD9 disorder
  • SAMD9L disorder
  • Shwachman-Diamond syndrome (SDS)
  • Other bone marrow failure disorder, even if the cause is unknown
• Study goal: to find out if the adding the drug treosulfan to treatment before transplant will cause fewer complications and make transplant work better

• Autologous (cells from the patient) blood or marrow transplant followed by HST-NEETs for treatment of HIV-associated lymphoma (BMT CTN 1903)
  • Study goal: to see if a type of cells called HST-NEETs can help fight HIV. HST-NEETs are cells made from the patient’s own immune cells that have been treated and grown in a lab.

• Chimeric Antigen Receptor T Cell (CAR T-cell) therapy for patients with multiple myeloma after autologous (cells from the patient) blood or marrow transplant (BMT CTN 1902)
  • Study goal: to see if CAR T-cell therapy can treat multiple myeloma when standard treatment didn’t work. CAR T-cell therapy uses a patient’s own cells that have been treated in a lab so they can attack cancer cells.
