Elizabeth Krieger, MD

Dr. Elizabeth Krieger is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU, where she specializes in pediatric bone marrow transplantation, cellular immunotherapy, and transformative therapies for hemoglobinopathies. She serves as Clinical Director of the Transformative Hemoglobinopathies Program. Her clinical and translational research work focuses on improving immune reconstitution after transplant and cellular therapy, with the goal of reducing relapse and complications. She is also actively involved in interventional clinical trials. Her work has been supported by grant funding from the American Cancer Society, Hyundai Hope on Wheels, Swim Across America, and the VCU Breakthrough Fund.
