Joseph Rimando, MD

Dr. Joseph Rimando is an assistant professor in the Department of Hematology/Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine and a clinical-translational investigator in allogeneic transplantation and acute leukemia. He completed medical school at the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University; an internal medicine residency at Washington University in Saint Louis; and a hematology and medical oncology fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Research interests include optimization of graft-versus-host disease prevention; treatment of relapsed acute leukemia after allogeneic transplantation; and allogeneic stem cell donor selection.
